In the team’s official 2024 MLS regular-season schedule released on Wednesday, Toronto FC will host Inter Miami in its regular-season finale.

It will potentially mark Messi’s first visit to BMO Field with the Florida-based MLS club after Inter Miami made its trip north before the Argentine superstar joined last season.

According to a news release, the Reds will open their 18th MLS campaign with back-to-back away games. They will face FC Cincinnati on Sun., Feb. 25 at TQL Stadium before heading to New England to face the Revolution at Gillette Stadium on Sun., March 3.

Toronto FC’s home opener will take place on Sat.,, March 16 at 2 p.m. when the Reds host Charlotte FC at BMO Field.

The Reds will play 25 regular-season matches on Saturdays, seven on Wednesdays and two on Sundays while their home schedule features 13 games on Saturdays and four on Wednesdays.

Toronto FC will play five matches against Western Conference opponents in 2024, including two at home and three away. The Reds will host Sporting Kansas City (March 30) and Austin FC will make it’s first-ever visit to BMO Field on Sept. 14).

Toronto will travel to meet their Canadian rival, the Vancouver Whitecaps on April 6, the Houston Dynamo on Aug. 24 and the Colorado Rapids on Sept. 21.

Reigning MLS Cup champion Columbus Crew will host coach John Herdman’s team on July 6 while the former Trillium Cup rivals will be in Toronto on Sept. 18.

Toronto FC will square off against CF Montreal twice during the 2024 campaign. Toronto will host ‘401 Derby” rivals on May 18 and then face Montreal at Saputo Stadium on July 20.
