Farmers’ Almanac forecast: ‘Big freezes, heavy snowfall’ for Ontario this winter
Depending on where you live, the Farmers’ Almanac is forecasting “big freezes” and “heavy snowfall” in parts of Canada.
The forecast says “a more moderate winter is on deck after a sweltering summer, calling for mild temperatures and below-average snowfall in many parts of Canada except for in Ontario,” Jane Stevenson reported.
So while much of the country is getting a reprieve, Ontario and eastern Manitoba is expected to get the brunt of the snow and frigid temperatures.

Things are rough in the Greater Toronto Area for people looking to rent living quarters, but Brampton is a whole other nightmare.
Brampton City Councillor Rowena Santos told the Toronto Sun that the increase in “friends with benefits” rental ads aimed at international students, particularly girls, are all in an effort to sexually exploit them for rent.
Due to “cultural dynamics” many of these young, inexperienced women don’t know what they are getting into, but are so desperate to find a place to live or the financial means to pay for it, they’ll do anything, Denette Wilford reported.
Brampton is the first municipality to have a charter related to international students’ quality of life and part of the Residential Rental Licensing (RRL) pilot program centres on housing, but there is only so much municipalities can do given the Landlord Tenant Board is provincial.

Paige Spiranac reveals reason behind her eye-catching golf outfits
Golf influencer Paige Spiranac may be known for her revealing outfits on the course but there’s a method to her hotness.
She revealed to host Kay Adams on the Up and Adams Show that wearing simple leggings and tank tops over polo shirts and skirts was due to financial restrictions and nothing else, according to Dan Bilicki.
As a former competitive gymnast with athletic wear that geared towards that sport, she admitted she “didn’t have enough money to go out and buy a whole new golf-appropriate wardrobe.”
Instead, she opted for what was already in her closet — and the rest is history.

Father-of-three Chad Condit, 57, the son of infamous former California congressman Gary Condit, claims that he injured his back performing oral sex on his boss in a car.
He claimed their romps were “sex-based quid pro quo,” and that he endured “unwelcome advances and sexual behaviours coupled with punishment and flexing of power.”
Alvarado-Gil denied the allegations, slamming the “disgruntled former employee” who has “fabricated an outlandish story.”
