Among the alleged motives, according to court documents, is that Harnden and Rodgers – who both worked in the sex trade – got into an argument over a Rolex watch and Rodgers threatened to “smoke” Harnden. Harnden was also allegedly upset that Rodgers had been telling people that Harnden had implicated Rodgers’ boyfriend in a double murder, leading to his arrest in California.
Rodgers allegedly asked Comanche for help and he told police that he tried to hire a friend to do the hit, but the friend was not interested.

According to court documents, Harnden and Rodgers had planned to meet for a prostitution “double date.”
Comanche, who was in the Las Vegas area for a game against the NBA G-League Ignite, left the team hotel after the game and got into a car with Harnden before picking up Rodgers, according to court documents.
Harden allegedly told Rodgers that Comanche was “going to pay them for their services” and that he was into “kinky sex” and wanted to tie them up.
Rodgers then, according to police records, willingly had her wrists tied before Comanche allegedly wrapped an HDMI cord around her neck, while Harnden used her hands. Comanche allegedly told police he choked Rodgers for “10 seconds,” but stopped when he heard her struggling to breathe, while Harnden continued.
